Spiral roses Birthday card

Hey All,
Just here to share a card I made yesterday. I had purchased this background stamp from Kavitha's store and was tempted to use it. I had even stamped it on this card stock and kept for future use. Yesterday while going through my stash I realised that these flowers go so well with the bg and the sentiment added to the look. So the card was ready in no time :)

Bird house

Hi! Today I am sharing a bird house that can be hung anywhere. I found the template on net and I printed it on cardstock. I then cut it and decorated it with quilled roses (my favorite) and punched leaves and a butterfly.
I used some craft scraps in the form of the negative part of border punch as the flourish and stems for leaves.
I made a scalloped roof for the hut. Here is a close-up of it.
Hope you like it :) Here is the link for the birdhouse template, in case you wish to make it.

Bottle shaped card

Hey there! Today I want to share a card that I made for my dad's ex-boss on his retirement.
My mom and dad wanted me to make a card in a different shape so I came up with a bottle shaped card.
Here it is...
As you can see I also made a matching envelope with the card.
My dad had sent me the wordings for the card, so I stuck the greetings on the right inner side and made a tag for the left side.
The tag can also be used as a bookmark later.
A close-up of the front side...If you see carefully, the flourishes are actually the negative part of the punched border used for the envelope, which we normally discard. Also the little stars added on the greeting inside is from the punched border.

Baby Card

Hi friends!! Today I have a cute little card to share.
Lots of baby news doing the rounds so I thought why not make a baby card. Also I thought the theme at ICR for this month's challenge suits a baby card very much.
For this card I have used paper scraps from my Triple Easel card.
I cut strips of left over paper and used them for topn and bottom borders.
The dots are punched out from a paper punch. The tag is hand-cut.
The baby stamp is from Hobby Ideas. The ribbon is also reused from candy wrapper.
I traced the elephants and hand-cut them.
 I really loved the tag. Here's a close-up!

Top 3 and DT at Crafty JC

Hey folks!! I am delighted to be chosen among the Top 3 at Crafty JC's Recycling Challenge for my recycled tin can project.
This also means that I get to be the DT for their next challenge. This time we have a color palette to choose from, and my card is based on palette #2.
I made this card for my mom's birthday. The layout is based on card patterns sketch 138.
The card stock, glitter balls and silver butterfly stickers are from Pie Lane. The ribbon is from Archies. I had found this colored digi from internet and it was lying with me since a long time. The purple and green paper and the star were part of a scrapbooking kit I purchased from Hobby Ideas. 'You are a star' sticker is from Ms Elizabeth, again bought from Hobby Ideas.
 Another view....
So, do play along and have fun! See you at the Crafty JC Challenge #11.
