Black and white circular easel card

Hi All. Today I have another black and white, circular easel card to share, but with a dash of blue. I made this card keeping in mind the challenge at Beyond Grey Challenge blog. I guess I just made it in time as today is the last day of submission.
The PP is from Kavitha's store. I really like the way the dotted PP gels with the striped one. The white lace adds a magical touch to the card. The glitter pot sticker and the birdy are from Itsy Bitsy. And so are the flowers used on the inner panel. The sentiment is a digi.
This is how the card looks when opened. I have hand cut the white part to write the message on. I added flowers from Itsy Bitsy as embelishment.
And yes, did you all notice my new watermark? I have been wanting to change my watermark since a long time, and finally came up with this. I really wanted something that resembles my style and the things I love. I am crazy for flowers, so I added the flowers, on two sides :) and yeah swirls too!!
I really want to hear from you all, how you liked it.

You're so thoughtful

Hi All!! How was the weekend?? Mine was a nice crafty one..... I made 4 cards :) Will share them one by one! Ok so here is the card I want to share today.
The focal point of this is the frame. I cut out the frame from a thick embossed handmade paper. I have used a colored digi as the picture for the frame. The dotted PP for the bg is from PaperMania. I embellished the card with quilled flowers and butterfly. I used silver glitter balls for the stem and leaves instead of the conventional green color leaves and stem.
The 3 blue dots at both diagonals are from Pie Lane.
 Here is another look...
Have a good day!

DIY Bloom

Hi guys, this is my second post for the day. I made this card few days back. I love flowers and experiment with different types of handmade flowers. I randomly drew a petal for this flower in three different sizes, embossed them and assembled the flower. The center of the bloom is a fringed flower. The leaves are also handcut and inked on the edges. The PPs are from Kavitha's store. I embellished the card with lace and rhinestones for an added effect. See more pics below for a close-up of the bloom and the rhinestone swirl.
 The bloom...
I stuck the rhinestones in a swirl pattern...
Hope you like my card. Thanks for visiting!!

Card for Holi

Hey people!! How are you all doing? I am feeling a bit low since last week. Not been well and not been able to craft this weekend. That makes me even more low :( Just spent the weekend sitting at home doing nothing! I guess sometimes this is required to get the mojo back.
So today I am sharing a card that I made last weekend for Holi. I was too excited to see the ICR challenge for Holi. The use of misting technique reminded me of the brush painting we used to do in school.
Let me show you how I created the bg. You must have seen this kind of nylon net on various bottles. I cut it open for use. Since I wanted to make 3 panels in different colors, I took 3 strips of CS and sprayed on them separately.
I have used ordinary water colors and toothbrush for misting. I was quite happy with the result and have thought of many more ideas to use this net. The splashes used in 3 colors are hand-drawn and cut.
Let me know how you all liked my card and my tecnique :)

Stamped Flowers Card

Hey guys, sharing a card that I had made quite some time back, but never got to post it.  The flowers are stamped using the sponge stamps from Hobby Ideas. I used water colors to stamp the flowers. After stamping the flowers on card stock, I cut them out and then stuck them on the card with dimensionals. I used small golden beads for the center of the flower. The leaves are punched using Jef punch. The large sequins used for the border are from my mom's old dress.

Challenges entered:
For the love of crafting challenge #4 - Blooming gorgeousness
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Creative Mondays -Anything Goes

I also wanted to share with you how I organize my ribbons. Ribbons are my favorite piece of embelishment and I find it very easy to acess them this way. I simply wrap them around tissue rolls and secure with tape at the start and end. And then I keep them in a box like this. Isn't it easy :)

Wedding Card

Hi All. I have a good news to share with you all. I was chosen in the Top 3 for Pie Lane Challenge#2 - A recipe for my Circular Easel Card with non-traditional valentine theme.

So, Tejal invited me to share an inspiration for the current Pie Lane Challenge#3 - Wedding.
Here is my take on the challenge.
I created a  fancy fold card seeing the tutorial here. The white CS is from Itsy Bitsy. Pie Lane couple dance sticker is apt for this theme and I designed the card around this. I stamped the CS with wooden stamps from Hobby Ideas. The dew drop purple beads are form Pie Lane. I really love them as they come in a variety of colors and can be used in many ways. The ribbon is a RAK from Neha.
A close-up of the card. I added a mini daisy punch flower on the lady's hair. I have also used Pie Lane silver glitter balls to decorate the white space on the bg.
This is how the card opens up. The glitter star stickers were bought locally. And the purple heart was a RAK from Anita Kejriwal.
Hope you like my card. Do play along the current challenge at the Pie Lane Blog.

Love post digi card

Hi All. I made this card for Varna's Blog hop today. Varshitha had sent this beautiful digi to us. I wanted to keep the digi as it is and so I did not color it. The patterned bg is also a digi that I created. I mounted the love post digi on an old price tag and made a bow with the thread of the tag. I then embellished the card with quilled flowers. The pretty green colored heart is a part of a sticker pack that one of my friend's had got from UK. The round black thing on top right is a sticker that is used to secure punched papers in files. I also used my fav embellishment nowadays: Pie Lane swirl sticker.
