This was at a resort in Bhandardara......... we just cudn't stop eating....... everyone had left, the restaurant was to close and we four were still ordering for more!

I had made this Guestbook for my wedding..... I wanted to capture all the good wishes and blessings from my friends and family in it....... and now it will remain with me all my life!!

Pasta treat

Yummy pasta......... made by my friend n bro Prakz at my place........ thanks pal !
Here's the recipe from Prakz........
WHITE SAUCE FOR PASTA
1 tbsp. butter, 1 tbsp. flour, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 cup milk
Oregano or Zatar, 2 cheese Cubes, 1 spoon Sour cream if available, Salt and pepper
Basic white sauce: In saucepan melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and dash pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 2 minutes more. Add grated cheese and Zatar.

PASTA RECIPE
Pasta ( Fuseli, penne or farfalle)
Vegetables coarsely chopped
· French beans
· Baby corn
· Bell pepper
· Carrot
2 tbsp Olive oil
Salt and pepper for seasoning.
· Blanch pasta and keep it on side…
· In a pan, take two spoon oil and put vegetables sauté it over medium flame for 2 minutes and then cover the lid for 2 more minutes.
· Add pasta and stir it for a minute….
· Add white sauce over the top and mix the pasta with a very light hand.
· Finally add the seasoning and Voila!!! its ready to go.

Again........Custard n Jelly with a variation

 This time I used pineapple jelly and topped up with strawberries and black grapes....

Cream of Celery soup

 

Yummy......recipe below......
Ingredients:

2 heads of celery , 1 small onion , 2 tablespoons of milk , 2 tablespoons butter , 1 tablespoon plain flour or cornflour, 1 teaspoon salt , ½ saltspoon white pepper

Method:

1. Remove the tender heart of the celery for serving alone, using the outside stalks for the soup.

2. Cut these in pieces and put on to boil with the best of the leaves and the onion cut in quarters, in water enough to well cover.

3. Boil slowly until soft; strain through a coarse sieve, add the milk, butter, and thickening; boil very slowly for ten minutes; add salt and pepper, and serve.

This was the first version of it that I had made when one my dearest friend visited me.....

Kheer and pude (pancakes)



I had made this for the first time on my husband's birthday......... and they came out quite well.... Kheer with sweet and salted pancakes........ they are mostly prepared during rainy season in punjab in monsoons.......

Rainbow sandwiches......

I just love them .......... learnt from my mom.......... u can create this tricolor by adding mint chutney and jam or tomato sauce.......... other options are cheese spread n butter....

Fruit Chantilly


Fruit Chantilly............ love it......... esp the taste of baked bananas with ice-cream!! I also baked apples and chikoo in orange sauce. Then served them with ice-cream and topped it with chocolate sauce.
