Just for you - Monochromatic Card

Hey there. This is a very simple monochromatic card that I made while wrapping up my craft supplies after making the stuff I had planned for the day. So it was made in a jiffy with whatever came my way.
I have used 3D glitter stickers, doily, PP scraps, a left over cut-out of heart, flowers and pearls.

Chipboard Baby Album

Hello friends. This is a chipboard baby album that I made on order some time back. It is meant to record events for baby's first year.

Pages 1 and 2
Page1: To note the birth stats of the bay
Page 2: To stick the very first picture of the baby

Pages 3 and 4
Page 3: It is a folded card to stick pictures of the baby along with pictures of mom and dad on both sides.
Page 4: It is an insert to stick picture of the baby with the full family.

Page 3: This is how the folded card opens.

Page 5 and 6
Both these pages have pockets to store 2 inserts each. These pages are dedicated to save baby's firsts, like baby's first crawl, first tooth, first solid food, etc.

Page 7 and 8
Both these pages have pockets to store 2 inserts each. These pages are dedicated to save baby's favourites, like fav dress, fav toy, fav song, etc.
Did you guys notice these cute critters? They are stamps and I have stamped them on colorful PPs and then fussy cut.

Pages 9 and 10
Page 9: This is again a folded tie-up card to record baby's growth years.
Page 10: This page is created to store memories related to baby's first birthday.

Page 9: This is how the tie-up card opens. It has a pocket with lots of tags to write notes. For the right side I made an accordian fold where the parents can stick pictures of baby and write their messages on. I have not stuck it so that it is easy to stick pics, and later on it can be attached to the card base.

Page 10: This open up card is meant for details of the first birthday along with pictures.

This is my first ever baby album, and it has gone all the way to US. I hope the new parents love it :)

Magic Explosion Box - Beer Bottles and Cake

I love making explosion boxes and I have made a no. of them in varying themes. One of my client wanted an exploding box for her husband's bday. She wanted me to incorporate beer bottles inside the box along with cake. This itself started ringing a bell in my mind and I began imagining how it would shape up.

Here's a look at the box. I loved the color combo :) How do you like it???

 Top view...
 Let's open the box now..

This is how the box looks from inside... Whole lot of personal messages and cute pics.

I made the beer bottles from old wedding card and some stickers (the golden part). For the beer mugs, I stuck these Pie Lane glasses on brown CS and cut out a cup shape from it. Isn't the square cake so adorable :)

Thanks for dropping by :)

Anniversary Frame with Quilling

Hi. I am so happy I am back to quilling with these last few orders that I received. The client wanted a big frame with 3 pictures and a personalised message and lots on quilling along the pictures. This is what I came up with. The moment I got this order I knew I wanted to pick up pastel shades. The picture along after framing is not captured very well as I was in a hurry to ship it.

This picture will give you a much clearer glimpse of the frame. I wanted to give a nice background to the frame and not just quill on a plain paper. So I decided to use some pretty pattern papers. I took a print-out of the wordings that the client had sent.

The client specifically wanted these quilled birdies from my 'Love birds card', in the frame. A close up of the quilled birdies all glittered up!!

Quilled Name Plate

Hi. I made this name plate on order. The color theme suggested was Red and Gold and the technique required was quilling with beehive. I have used 2 shades of red. Not sure if its visible through this picture. One of the WIP photo below shows it well. I have not incorporated too much design into this so that the names can be read clearly. I used a handmade paper from a local shop for the base. I painted it with bronze and golden paint to make the texture stand out and I really liked how it enhanced the overall look.

A look at some work-in-progress images.

Do you see the difference in the bg color here. The bright bronze and gold makes it stand out.

This is my first attempt at a quilled name plate. Do let me know your frank feedback on this.

Edited: Thanks for your feedback friends. No, this is not my handwriting. I took a print out and traced it on paper as printing on handmade paper is not possible.

Monochromatic Easel Card

Hi All. Today I am sharing an easel card that I made on order. My client wanted an easel card to accomodate a picture of her mom-in-law along with some sweet wordings that she had sent. At the bottom, she wanted to put up a picture of herself and her husband along with some more personalised messages.

She also wanted lots of quilling on the card. So this is what I came up with. Monocrhomatic theme is just a co-incidence. I have mainly used green and yellow..

Best Wishes - Forever and Always

Hey guys. I have been away from my blog since a long time as I was busy with my house shifting. It's been very hectic and my craft stuff is still not set. I hope I am able to set it up soon and start crafting. I have been visiting some of your blogs and seeing beautiful projects by fellow crafters on Fb. Good to see so many creative geniuses :)

Today I am sharing a card I made some time back. It's a Z fold card. The PP is K & Company from Priya's store. The sentiments are digis. The flower is made using daisy punches.

Here is a close shot of the 3 panels... Did some doodling on the tag. On the third panel I cut apart MS Diamond Fence punch and adhered it to both sides of sentiment.
Hope you like this simple card made by me.

Father's Day card for Lulupu Challenge DT Inspiration

Hey guys! It's the start of a brand new month and we have a fabulous challenge up at Lulupu blog - My First Love, My Dad!! This is my take on this month's theme. I actually wanted to make a guitar shaped card but wasn't sure how it would shape up as the top part of the card would become very thin. So instead I used these fabulous PPs from my Lulupu DT kit and hand cut this guitar. For the guitar I have used a PP from Zephyr paper pad. For the bg I have used MME 6x6 Blink of an eye paper pad.
A closer look at the detailing..
The sentiment is a print out from a digi I found on the net. I have adhered it using a brad so that it can be moved around.
