Circular Easel Card

Hi Folks. Today I am posting a very lovey dovey pink card apt for wedding/anniversary/proposal.
About the card:
Upper part: The major element of this card i.e. the PP is a recycled stuff. The whole idea of the card cropped up form this one image. It is a page from an interior design magazine. So you can see the glossiness of the PP. There is a striped wall and a plain wall ; you can also see a part of the roof and a hanging lamp. The chandelier is a digi and the flowers are punched. The ribbon was a RAK from Neha Gala during one of our ICR meets. I must say I am quite addicted to these Pie Lane swirl stickers now. Feel like using them in all the cards that I am making now. The silver butterfly is also from Pie Lane.
The Base: I wanted to create a wedding effect with wedding/engagement rings, and that's when I thought of using quilled rings. I used a pink gem stone for the lady's ring. Here again I have used similar flowers but in smaller size, and Pie Lane stickers and butterfly.
The gorgeous white pearl sticker is from Crawford market. I have it in blue and purple as well. :)
 A close-up of the rings...
Do let me know how you like my card :)
P.S.: In case interested, I had earlier posted a tutorial for these flowers here. And yesterday I had posted a card using same flowers.

DIY Bg with Stamp inks

Hi All!! I really didn't know what to name this card so named it on the technique used. I just randomly came up with this idea to create a background that matched the colored digi of perfume bottles that I had. I will post a tutorial for it soon. But for now to give you an idea, I used Hobby Ideas stamp inks for creating this bg. They come in round thick pen form. After stamping using pink and purple colors, I rubbed it down with a wet tissue.
The flowers used on the card are made using 3 different sizes of flower punch. The golden swirl sticker is from Pie Lane and the ribbon from my stash.
Do let me know how like this technique.
Have a good day!

Hearts Waterfall Card

Hi all. This was the first waterfall card that I made for my husband on his birthday. Somehow could not share it earlier.
I have used 4 different heart digis for panels. The PPs are from paper mania. The buttons and ribbon are from my stash.
Here's an inside view of the card. I stamped 'I love You' using the new sentiment stamps that I purchased from Jovi's store.
This is a mini booklet made from a single sheet of paper, in which I wrote the small messages. The tutorial for this was shared by my blogger pal Priya Sivaraj at her blog.

Thinking of You Card

Hi. I am back with another V-Day card. This time I used a big quilled flower to embellish the card. It is inspired by Azlina's quilled flower posted at her blog here. The heart digi is from   Whimsy Stamps that I won at a challenge at Whimsy Inspiration.
A close-up of the flower... Doesn't it look like a cross-section of a cut strawberry. And incidentally I had a wooden strawberry shaped button which Jovi gave to me as a RAK. It matches so beautifully with the flower. The glittered borders are from Itsy Bitsy. The sentiment is stamped using my new stamps I purchased from Jovi's craft store.
Hope you all like my card. Thanks for visiting!

Hey there. My today's card is a cute little love card with the sentiment - Thinking of You. The card is based on a sketch from the blog - Raise the bar. Its again a yellow card - my fav color :). The PPs are from PaperMania. The sentiment is from Itsy Bitsy. The image is actually from a wrapping paper I had purchased from Archies long time back. You can view two more cards that I had made using more digis from the same paper here.
The yellow flowers are made using daisy punch. The brown beads are from Pie Lane. The yellow and white lace is from my stash.

Valentine Card with Non Traditional colors

Hi All! Hope you all are having a fun weekend. I made an easel card today based on some of the challenges I wanted to enter. My starting point was Mojo Monday Sketch #226.
I chose the round card and made a circular easel card for the first time. I have been wanting to make one ever since I saw this card made by my dear friend Priya Sondhi.
Though my card is a love card, the colors used are non traditional. I used two of my most favorite colors - Yellow and Purple. The big bloom and leaves are handmade without using and punches or diecuts. [See similar but bigger bloom on my other card here].
The lovely cream colored roses are a gift from my friend which she got during her visit to UK. The purple mulberry roses are purchased from Ujjwal's store. The sentiment is from Itsy Bitsy. The silver swirls are from Pie Lane. The buttons are from my stash.
A peek into the inside of the card...

Hope you all like my card. Awaiting your encouraging comments!!

Colorful love card

Hi peeps! This is a love card that I made based on an old sketch from Card Patterns. It helps to use card sketches when you are in a dilemma or have no idea about what you are going to make.
The PPs used in the card are from Hobby Ideas. The flower is handmade without using any templates or punches. Only the dark innermost petal is a punched daisy. The sentiment is a digi. I used two ribbons for the border, one broad and one narrower than it, and placed the latter on top of the broad one. The tiny blue beads on top right are from Pie Lane.

Waterfall card - Printed Motifs

Hey there! Today I am sharing another waterfall card with you all. As I had told you, I am in love with waterfall cards ever since Neha Gala from A1 Craft store, shared the tutorial with us.
The motifs that I used on the card are digis that I printed on card stock. I found these on the internet. The PP is from my collection of papers. Don't remember the brand as of now. The buttons and ribbon are from my stash.
This is the second panel..
The third one..
The last one. You can stamp a message on this blank part that is pulled out, as a surprise element.
Another view of the card...
Hope you liked it. See my other waterfall card here...
