Congrats Shaker Card with PABD Peonies Love

Hello everyone!! I am back with the second card made using PABD Peonies Love stamp set. I did a lot of watercoloring at once and fussy cut the flowers. You can see my other card here.
I wanted to make a shaker card, probably my first, with the yellow flowers. 

I used a die cut frame and white glitter background for the shaker window and filled it up with loads of sequins and seed beads. Then I adhered the shaker window on a white matting and stuck it onto the card base. The flowers were glued using white glue and few foam dots.

Tiled Background Card

Hey. This card was created when I was doing the series of lattice window cards. Instead of a woven background, I tried using my tile punch to create a window effect. I punched the tile 6 times to create this bg. Then I cut out a window from the card base and adhered the tiled bg from inside. 

The chrysanthemum is a free dg from the net. I colored it using distress inks and glued atop the card with foam squares. The seam binding ribbon was colored using the same distress ink.

How to make a Lattice Window Card - Video Tutorial

Hi everyone! I recently posted quite a few lattice window cards and these were my first experiments with them. I also won some blog challenges for these cards of mine. One such win was at the Lulupu blog and I was invited to be the GD on their blog. So I made a video tutorial on how to make lattice window cards. This is my first ever attempt on making a video tutorial, so kindly bear any kind of misses. Also please pardon the bad lighting and my badly abused craft mat. My husband pointed that out later :)

Black Lattice Window Card

Hey guys! This is another card in the series of lattice cards that I have been making in the last couple of days. This time I wanted a red and black combo. The red poppy flower goes pretty well with the black backdrop. I got this digi from the net and colored it using Faber Castell color pencils. It was a bit tacky to fussy cut this, as it have many closed spaces which had to be cut-out with a craft knife. Instead of adhering it with 3D tape, this time I glued it directly on the lattice frame. The sentiment is heat embossed and the stamp set is from TPC.

Framed Flowers

Hi All. Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend. Today I am sharing a card wherein I tried making a frame with some paper cutting and punching. I used a pre-embossed sheet to make the frame. Then I weaved the ribbon onto the frame by punching holes at various positions. Punched the edges with an MS punch.

The image is from Beccy's place. I printed and then colored it using Faber Castell watercolor pencils. Added some pearls on 4 corners to finish my card.

Lattice Window Card

Hi everyone!! I have been meaning to try out a lattice window card since a very long time, and finally I got the time for it. Though tedious, I loved creating this lattice window. I am also going to try out different versions of it. I first created this panel and then mounted it on a green card base. Love how the green peeps out of the white panel.

I also have been doing a lot of watercoloring these days... my cards in coming days will reveal those! I printed a whole lot of these pretty digis from the net and colored them using Faber Castell watercolor pencils. This one is from Beccy's blog. When I completed coloring this, I had a vision in mind as to how I wanted my card to be and I was able to achieve what I had thought of. I wanted a very subtle but intricate background for this.

Here's a look at behind the scene pics... I used an old piece of CS to create the lattice, thus the coloring on the strips.

Faux window card

Hi All. Here is a simple faux window card that I made recently. The colored tiles used here are from the brochure of a paints company. The ribbon is from my stash and the blue border is from Itsy Bitsy. The flowers used for embelishment is a RAK which one of my friends got for me from UK. The CS is a local buy.

Vellum window card

Hi All. Today I am sharing a card in which I have tried something new. And I got to thank my friend Jovita for it. She gave me this piece of vellum and insisted I try it out. I cut out a window in my CS and stuck vellum from the inside. I have used a plain line golden sticker to add a border to the window. The golden edge sticker at both corners is also from the same set. Then I embellished the card with quilled flowers.

This is my first try at faux window cards and I had in no way planned to make it. I just happened to find an old calendar in my stash and I chose these images to make Diwali cards. And just then this idea struck me.

Window card

Hello! This is a window card that I made for ICR challenge. The combo twist was to add sewing to it in any form. I used faux stitching on my card. The bow is made out of tissue paper and I added a touch of pink with water colors.
