One Stamp Three Cards

Hello there! Today I am sharing not one but three cards made using the Hero Arts Cling Stamp - Large Flower Background. This is one of those stamps, with which you fall in love instantly and you just want to own and play with it. I saw a few cards made using this stamp while browsing the net one day, and ordered this stamp right away. It's been lying with me for a while, and finally I got a chance to play with it.

I am a very amateur stamper, but I had lot of fun making these cards. While I was embossing the first card, I thought why not emboss more pieces at once. I find this an easy way to make card sets or a batch of cards in one go.

I embossed two cards with Ranger super fine white embossing powder and the third one with Ranger Gold embossing powder. Then I colored them with distress inks. The birthday sentiments are from a stamp company called Flonz Craft. The Just for you sentiment is from TPC - Whimsy Greetings.

Handmade Christmas Card 2014 - Design 9

Hello and welcome to my series of Christmas cards for the year 2014. This is my ninth card and this time I have made a set of cards. You may like to view all my Christmas cards here.

I have had this set of handcut stencils with me since I was in school. My friend owned the original stencils which she got along with an imported craft book. I traced and handcut them to create a copy for myself. Since they are cut in paper, they are quite fragile and I can't do much with them. I love these designs and I have been thinking of cutting another set with a transparency... huh if time permits :)

I have used distress inks to color my cards. They've not the best of cards and not too neat too, but still I love them :)

Thanks for visiting!

Notecards Gift Boxes - Punched Design

I made these Notecards Gift Boxes few months back but was not able to post them. I have few more with different designs as well. This one is the Tile Punch Design. I made 2 boxes of the same pattern: one in blue and one in yellow. I haven't used the MS scoreboard to make them as my score board arrived much later :) I made my own templates for the boxes.
Each box has a set of 3 notecards matching the outer design and in 3 different colors.
The box and the three notecards.
Here are the 2 boxes with the notecard set.
Do let me know how you liked my gift box set. I plan to put 3 matching envies also in the box. These are ideal for gifting.

CASEd Card

I absolutely fell in love with this card that I saw on Pinterest and could not hold myself back from replicating it. Although Carol has used a laser cut for this, I have used my MS Lace Punch for the card. It was so easy to make these cards that I made two of them at one go.

Thanks for dropping by. Have a great day!

Card set

I find it very useful to make two cards together at a time, similar in look but may be in different colors. This way you don't have to repeat the efforts needed to make that card and in the end you get two similar looking cards.
So here is a set I made few days back. It is a very simple card. I have used PPs on one side and punched them to string the ribbon. I then stamped the branch on top right and glued punched flowers on it. All the cards differ only in color and sentiment. The sentiment stamp is from Jovi's store.

Faux window cards

This is my first try at faux window cards and I had in no way planned to make it. I just happened to find an old calendar in my stash and I chose these images to make Diwali cards. And just then this idea struck me.
Hope you like them! Do drop in a line to lemme know :)
I have used those cute embellies from Pie Lane.

Winner's cards

Finally, the cards for the winners of my blog contest are ready :)
The winners had a choice to either choose from any of my handmade cards or to order a customised one. Neha and Hussena wanted a card similar to the handmade roses card that I made. They both loved the roses very much! So here are their cards (center-Neha, right-Hussena)

 Hussena's card

The 3rd winner, Huzefa, wanted a Birthday card. The brief was to include flowers in the card. I shall post his card in a few days (after he's given the card to the person for whom he ordered it, Don't wanna leak his secret).

UPDATE: View the card I made for Huzefa, here.

There was also a surprise element for the winners. They'll receive the following yummy craft goodies from me. Hope they like it. Looking forward to seeing what they create from it. :)

Happy crafting!!

Somewat different...

These cards are not the usual stuff that I make....... I used cartoon characters for the first time and set them on color co-ordinated backgrounds. The purple round shape used for the card on the left is again another clothing tag. Embellished with quilled accents and ribbon...... pretty easy to make.

Simple cards using clothing tags

I try to reuse stuff as far as possible. These cards are made by using tags of a clothing line to create background for the artwork...

I had 3 tags of similar type, but I used 2 of them: one with blue-green color and other with yellow-mustard combination. The 3rd one had a more interesting design on its other side so I wanted to use it for another card.
