Quilled miniature

This is a really simple miniature made by quilling. I have two shades of paper for the flowers: yellow and blue. Glue the yellow and blue papers together in 1:4 ratio resp. and curl up tightly. Pop the yellow part outside somewhat like how we make a bell. Cut out long leaves using A4 green paper. Make a small vase by combining 2-3 strips of quilling paper.

Flower basket

I made this cute little basket for my husband. He has been eyeing my other miniatures for a long time. So I thought why not make an exclusive one for him. It adorns his office desk now :).........

Tutorial: How to make Eccentric Circles

Eccentric Circles are made with normal circles quills. Roll a tight circle and let it expand to desired width and glue it end. WIth the help of a pin bring all the layers from the centre to the outer most layer and glue them together. Hold for a while till the layers stick nicely.

Quilled Card: Eccentric circles

For this card you need 10 eccentric circles in bright color for the flowers. Use either dark brown or dark green paper for the stem, leaves and flower centre.
Refer my tutorial on How to make Eccentric circles here.

Art on tiles

I had made these paintings on tiles 5 years back. Am yet to frame them. I had put in a lot of effort to make them. The outline that you see is made out of black thread. Hope they adorn my walls soon :)

I will try to dig out the pdfs of the above paintings in case someone wishes to replicate them and post it here soon!

P.S. Here are the printables as promised above!!

Husking flowers card

I made this card with Husked daffodil flowers and leaves for my husband on our Anniversary. He had got me a DIY card kit few days back. So I decided to use the sequins and small flowers that you see below the ribbon from the kit.
